On April 22nd, 2018 China (Foshan) International Ceramic & Bathroom Products Exhibition (CICPE 2018) has been officially concluded and achieved complete success. The four-day exhibition fully conveyed the original image of Chinese ceramic and bathroom industry to the world, displayed the features and charm of Chinese ceramic and bathroom products, brought a fresh and bright visual sense to visitors at home and abroad and won unanimous praise from the industry.

 According to statistics, held Apr. 19 – 22 in GICEC, CICPE 2018 was attended by 83,028 professional visitors, which exceeded the expected level, and the proportion of designers accounted for 14.11%.


 There were 4321 international professional buyers from 142 countries and regions in the world participating in CICPE 2018 and overseas buyers occupied 5.2%.


 More than 300 industry media and mass media have reported CICPE 2018 to publicize the Exhibition and exhibitors. There were over 1 million exposure in these 4 days.

 

More than 300 famous ceramic and bathroom brands at home and abroad have attended the Exhibition. In addition to China, there were also well-known brands from Italy, Spain, India, Turkey, Indonesia and many other countries.



There were 68 brands 318 products participating in the China Ceramic King Award Evaluation Event, 47 of which won awards.

The Top 2 biggest proportions of overseas buyers are Europe and Asia, which account for 48.97% and 40% respectively. It basically matches the major ceramic producing and consuming places in the world.

CICPE 2018, aiming to catch up with Cersaie, received lots of attention from media before the Exhibition. With all kinds of cameras, media kept their attention on every highlight of the show. More than 300 industry media and mass media have reported CICPE 2018. There were over 1 million exposure in these 4 days. A large number of industry media have also turned out in full strength. They made a special report on this Exhibition and publicize the Exhibition and exhibitors.

China Ceramic King Award, Precedent of the Industry

Since the concept of “Blind Evaluation” of “China Ceramic King Award”, it has received positive response from ceramic and bathroom industry. A total of 318 products from 68 brands participated in the selection. The jury was formed by Dean of School of Architecture, South China University of Technology, Chang Jiang Scholars, Mr. Yimin Sun, Professor and Doctoral Supervisor of School of Architecture, Tsinghua University, Mr. Zhenyu Li, Former Dean, Professor and Doctoral Supervisor of School of Architecture, Tsinghua University, Mr. Maoyan Xu, Associate Dean and Professor of School of Environment and Society, Tokyo Institute of Technology, Mr. Yasuda Koichi, National Design Master, Associate Dean and Chief Architect of Architectural Design and Research Institute of Guangdong Province, Mr. Xiong Chen, Dean, Professor and Doctoral Supervisor of Guangzhou Academy of Fine Arts School of Architecture, Mr. Kang Shen, Chief Designer of Guangzhou Turen Landscape Planning Co., Ltd, Academic Editor of Landscape Design Magazine, Mr. Wei Pang, Associate Dean and Chief Architect of Guangzhou Design Institute, Guangdong Design Master, Mr. Zhencong Ma, Professor and Doctoral Supervisor of School of Materials Science and Engineering, South China University of Technology, Mr. Jianqing Wu, Assistant Chief Engineer and Professor Level Senior Engineer of China National Building Material Group Co., Ltd, Mr. Jifeng Tong. Following the principle of Fairness and Impartiality, the jury selected 47 awards based on 6 categories, including Large Ceramic Slabs, Marble Tiles, Polished Tiles, Rustic Tiles, Modern Tiles and Interior Wall Tiles. This event created a precedent for the industry evaluation and became a high-value award.

Four International Sourcing Conference, Help Chinese Ceramic Enter the World

Apart from display, CICPE 2018 organized 2 Europe and the United States Session of International Sourcing Conferences and 2 the Belt and Road Session of International Sourcing Conferences. More than 200 international buyers from more than a dozen countries (this data does not include the number of other organizations) communicated and negotiated with more than 300 participating brands on site one-on-one, which has become the first step for many participating brands to explore the overseas market.
